CITI offers online project management courses for individuals not able to attend a face-to-face course, yet who still require the knowledge and an understanding of methods and approaches. Participants do not need to attend either a classroom-based event or APM exam (unless chosen), as all relevant material is provided online.

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ)

The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (or APM PFQ) is one of our online project management courses. It is distance learning with accreditation that offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology, and offering a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. It is from the APM, and was formerly known as the APM Introductory Certificate (or APMIC).

This online project fundamentals qualification is designed for anyone looking to start a career in project management or those wanting to understand the principles of project management excellence. All of the preparation is carried out using elearning material – a mock examination is available to complete before sitting the real one hour multiple choice exam.

It is for those wishing to gain an understanding of the principles of the profession. No prior knowledge or experience is required for this qualification, which will offer the individual the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project.

APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

The APM Project Management Qualification (or APM PMQ) is one of our online project management courses. It is a knowledge-based qualification that allows candidates to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management.

This online project management qualification is designed for those who have worked on projects for at least 1 to 2 years and who now want to gain a professional qualification in project management. The course contains between 60 to 80 hours of self-study at a pace to suit the individual.

The PMQ is aimed at those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects.

Individuals typically have some pre-existing project management knowledge, and it is the ideal next step for anyone holding the APM Project Fundamentals (PFQ) qualification.
