This master class is aimed at practising project or programme managers who have at least three years experience in managing complex projects or programmes.
Many major project failures can be traced back to obviously flawed business cases. The business case defines the cost of the project or programme, the benefits to be realised (tangible and intangible) and the risks to their achievement. However, benefits cases are often poorly specified and may be open to bias in judgment due to pressures to ensure that the project is justifiable. This workshop provides an approach to defining the business benefits, testing the links of benefits to operational impacts caused by the products produced by the projects or programme and identifying weaknesses in existing project or programme benefit cases.
The one day master class combines short presentations, discussion sessions and exercises based upon material drawn from your own project or programme environment.
