Body of knowledge (BoK)

CITI's BoK is our repository of our extensive research and experience in project and programme management.

We base our recommendations on best practice on the evidence provided by our BoK, and use it to accelerate the development of customised methods and courses.

With over 20 years of education materials and IP (Intellectual Property), valued at over £2m, we are able to draw upon project and programme management content from a variety of sources.

Through our connections in academia we ensure that this body of knowledge remains up to date and that the practitioner project community can benefit from the research performed by organisations such as the National Centre of Project Management at Middlesex University (CITI’s academic partner).

The CITI BoK was created from research into bodies of knowledge from around the globe, including that of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Association for Project Management (APM).

Our maintenance and use of the BoK provides our clients with a unique resource, accessing the experience and wisdom of past experience to inform approaches that suit the current and client-specific needs of the future.
